Library Mission Statement
The library learning commons is an inclusive space where all students are welcome to use the library free of judgement and harassment. Our mission is to support the academic goals of the school. We accomplish our mission by providing a space that fosters research, creativity, and collaboration for our students and staff. We provide resources that are aligned with State and Common Core standards, are relevant to the twenty-first century learner, and promote college and career readiness. We provide access to a diverse collection of high interest fiction, non-fiction, and other reading materials. Our collection is curated to represent various viewpoints, diverse authors, and our student population. Above all, the library is a place where literacy and a love of reading is promoted to inspire life long learning throughout our school community.
